My goal is to offer you a safe environment to help you overcome past and/or present struggles. Vanity Nowell

Office Manager

Hello, My name is Vanity Nowell and I am the Office Manager for Empowerment Counseling and Coaching PLLC. I am a full-time mom and student studying to achieve my Masters of Science in Allied Health with a Concentration in Health Care Management. My passion for administrative behavioral health stems from my previous experience working as an administrative assistant in the Emergency Department at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center and then transitioning into an administrative assistant role representing the Pasquotank County region for Albemarle Regional Health Services. I have been awarded the opportunity to serve as an Ambassador for Sentara Albemarle Medical Center for a total of four years and I also received recognition and served on a regional panel as the district Health Champion for Albemarle Regional Health Services in 2020. It is my mission to spread Mental Health Awareness because it is a disseminating disease within our community, and also within our nation. It is our duty to speak up, reach out, and connect with individuals who are in need and seeking help and assurance. All it takes is one person to spread the listening heart of faith through therapy. I believe I have the knowledge and resources to help assist clients and serve as a valuable asset to Empowerment Counseling and Coaching PLLC and also to the Albemarle region.

“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not give up. So then, as we have the opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are the household of faith.”
